Refund, Exchange, and Cancellation Policy:
DataFax will provide a refund in full in the unlikely event that system errors result in incorrect billing.
DataFax will provide a refund, upon request, of the DataFax processing fee for individual records requested by its customers multiple times or for records requested with invalid identification numbers; however, DataFax is unable to provide a refund of the State's fee for these records as the State does not provide refunds.
DataFax will provide a refund of membership fees for any month or prorated partial month for which a customer is charged after a customer has canceled service.
DataFax is unable to provide exchanges due to the nature of the service provided (information).
DataFax will provide refunds only upon request and pending verification of the specifications of the request. Verified refund requests will be credited to the account of current customers unless a refund check or charge card credit is requested by the customer. Current customers requesting a refund check or credit card credit and non-current customers will be issued a refund check or credit card credit within one billing cycle of verification.
Customers may cancel at any time. Cancellation will be considered effective from the time of notification.
